- SWAN regional technical assistants, RTA’s, provide technical assistance to affiliates and county children and youth agencies through quarterly site visits, referral monitoring and assessment of training needs and problem resolution when necessary.
- SWAN program technical assistants, PTA’s, provide technical assistance to affiliates through unit of service reviews, training and action plans when necessary.
- The support offered by SWAN technical assistants goes beyond compliance and paperwork to include relationship building. Through the positive interaction among the SWAN prime contractor, counties and affiliates during visits, training, meetings and other technical support, a network has been built with the common purpose of moving towards achieving timely permanency for children.
