National Youth in Transition Data Base (NYTD)

The National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) is a federal reporting system created to track the independent living services PA provides to youth. NYTD also collects outcome information from youth transitioning out of foster care that is used to assess PA’s performance in operating their independent living programs. NYTD is a survey designed to track how PA has served older youth in care. It gives agencies, staff, lawmakers, and stakeholders real feedback, from real youth, about the services that are provided and whether they are making a difference for youth transitioning out of, or who have exited foster care.
